I know that on a forum like this all this info may sound a bit boring and yawn yawn etc but I would really appreciate any information on this piano.most people I've talked to since I "picked this up" seem to think I'm crazy / nuts But it seems just too good to trash and being a bit of a sentimentalist. 1 Lever twists and a door above the footpedals slides back. Serial # is 131714.Ībout 24 of the big keys have the ivory missing and 1 of the long keys.Įvery note works and seem in "tune" It has three foot pedals BUT I think it may have been a pianola or Player piano at some time as when you lift the lid anothe lower lid will drop down and there are 3 little buttons on it.

It is like Black wood with light swirls in it. The piano, even in the dark, looked a fine piece of furniture and is "complete"īeing an engineer by trade I just could not let it be trashed. Last week I acquired a piano that had been "resting" in dust and dirt etc in the back of local bar.the bar was being demolished and this piano would have been part of the rubble.

Hi everybody, I'm an Englishman working here in the USA.Īs a kid I started to learn the piano but had to give up to to heavy schooling etc.
